Following their dominant opening game win against the UAE 104-79, Strong Group Pilipinas secured back-to-back victories, this time against the Australian team, 91-69.
Former San Miguel Beermen import Chris McCullough once again led the Strong Group Pilipinas with 23 points (5/8 2pt, 3/5 3pt, 4/4 ft), along with 7 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block in 22 minutes of play. Naturalized Filipino Ange Kouame posted a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 block in 19 minutes while import Tajuan Agee finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals.
