The Radford University Highlanders, a US NCAA Division I team, defeated the Ateneo Blue Eagles Men's Basketball Team, 77-68 in the battle for third place of the 2023 World University Basketball Series (WUBS) on Sunday, August 13, at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. [VIDEO]
The defending champions Ateneo have been dethroned by Japan's Hakuoh University Soldiers, losing 73-58 in the knockout semifinals. The Blue Eagles suffered another loss against the Highlanders in the bronze medal match.
