Import Coty Clarke nailed the game-winning shot at the buzzer as the depleted Nagoya Diamond Dolphins (30-13) escape past the Hiroshima Dragonflies (31-12), 90-88 to claim their 30th win and snap the 3-game winning streak of the Dragonflies on Wednesday, March 22 in the Japan B.League 2023 at the Dolphins Arena aka Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium in Nagoya, Japan.
Import Alan Williams led the Dolphins with a double-double of 22 points, fourteen rebounds, three assists and a block. Coty Clarke had a solid game of 21 points, six rebounds, four assists and steal while locals Yutaro Suda and Taito Nakahigashi added 12 and 11 points, respectively. Scott Eatherton had a near double-double of 10 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and a block while Asian import Bobby Ray Parks Jr. a DNP (Did Not Play).
Kai Sotto finished the game with season-low 8 points (3/7fg, 2/2ft) along with four rebounds, four assists, four blocks, one steal, two foul, and one turnover in 23 minutes of play.
