WBC lightweight champion Edwin Valero (25-0, 25KOs) is ready for Saturday's title defense against Hector Velazquez (51-13-2) at El Nuevo Circo in Caracas, Venezuela. Valero is finishing up his training and preparing himself to make the weight. Beyond the defense againt Velazquez, he will face Antonio DeMarco on February 6 in Mexico.

hmmm nice record 25/25 KO, if you will watch the video closely, you will notice that valero does not have good footwork and a very awkward puncher. Sometimes he slaps not punch. Nice to know that there is a boxer like valero that "could" be a potential treath to Manny. Still valero have much to prove in order to reach the level of Manny.
