if we beat iran and jordan, we are going to meet korea in semi-finals and china in finals.
i believe we will go to fiba world championship u-17 if we qualify to finals game. 2 slots are alloted for asia.

we were there when RP beat Japan, and yesterday when they won against Syria. in Japan game, it was mostly isolation off-the dribble offense strategy they use. few 3 points where attempted. in the game against Syria, it was their trap defense that made the Syrians collapse in the final minutes and of course the outside shootings against bigger opponents.
i commend the trainings they instill in these players because everyone can bring the ball down even big boy like Teng. i wish they win "again" against a formidable bigger Iran team and secured a place in semis, if no success, beat Jordan and face the mighty China in cross over semis. i wonder if the China team follows the rule under 16. in their round robin warm up, nobody did a lay-up, ALL DUNKED !
lastly, we praise the support of the cheering ofw's (the pinoy mirons is the only solid and loudest supporters in this league!). they occupy almost half of the ring side seats. mabuhay team pilipinas!
